The stories in my paintings have a life of their own – are open – can move in this or that direction – turn surprisingly and keep secrets.

While painting I free myself from burdens and ambition, calming down the anxieties of the past. And then everything comes to me, easy and full of life.

From time to time I feel a strong wanderlust and have the urge to go outside, find well-known or strange places, meet with people and exchange views.

New, old, familiar and perhaps humorous, inspirational, informative, imaginative, playful thoughts, musings and ideas from around my studio.

My blog is written in German.
